Before taking the oath, Nitish Kumar was the NDA Legislature Party leader through an agreement. Moreover, at a meeting with newly elected MLAs at his Patna residence, Nitish was also elected as the JD(U) Legislature Party chief. The announcement of his being the head of the Bihar government was thus made public.
After the Chief Minister was re-elected, Congress leader Pawan Khera took the first move to cheer Nitish Kumar. He expelled the hope on behalf of the party that Nitish Kumar would accomplish his full term of office without any kind of lying. The Congress extended to him its good wishes for a stable government and urged him to govern Bihar in the absence of any political troubles in his 10th term.
After the oath-taking of Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister for the 10th time, his son Nishant Kumar praised him as well. At Gandhi Maidan, he spoke, thank you to all the ministers, guests, and supporters who were present at the ceremony. Father’s amazing political journey and leadership in Bihar made him very proud, and he conveyed this feeling.
